Preventive Maintenance / Essential Care and Condition Monitoring (PM/ECCM) Training
In House Preventive Maintenance Training
The Reliability Jump Start™ is a four to five day preventive maintenance training / implementation effort where a group of 10-15 people, representing both operations and maintenance, go through preventive maintenance (PM) concepts, learn why PM/ECCM is important, and how to set up and document preventive maintenance. The training is a very good tool for bringing operations and maintenance together in a joint effort. Maintenance basics, such as alignment, balancing, lubrication and cleaning are reinforced. During this week, the group will implement preventive maintenance in the plant for selected equipment. About 40-50% of the training is hands-on either equipment or documentation exercises.
Reliability and Equipment Care for Operators
The purpose of this class is to introduce operators to equipment reliability. Operators are often well trained in the process and manufacturing reliability, but seldom in equipment reliability. We do “KNOW WHY” training for operators in basic equipment functionality, failure modes and how to find the failures early to avoid catastrophic breakdowns. We also cover basic inspection tools and inspection techniques. The Reliability and Equipment Care training is similar to the Reliability Jump StartTM. The operator reliability training teaches the importance of equipment care, inspection techniques, basics of equipment reliability philosophy and much more. The training can be done as classroom training, but we recommend your plant add hands-on training with the seminar. This type of reliability training is perfect to combine with hands-on on-the-job training.
Open Seminars and Training in Preventive Maintenance and Reliability and Equipment Care for Operators
Even though we recommend customized preventive maintenance training for your plant, we provide open seminars in Preventive Maintenance Essential Care and Condition Monitoring. The open seminars are an excellent way to get started in your plant if the organization isn’t ready for an in-house training. It is also a great training for anyone aspiring to become a supervisor, superintendent, team leader or manager in a plant where equipment reliability is important.
Visit our page for open seminars to find current dates for our preventive maintenance training and reliability and equipment care training.
