Maintenance Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor
- Assists with development and implementation of strategies that drive continuous improvement and supports all elements of reliability.
- Facilitates knowledge and skill development of direct reports.
- Provides leadership and direction to direct reports to ensure the mill is meeting the objectives in EHS, quality, reliability, production, and costs.
- Leads in application of Market Based Management (MBM®), preventative maintenance programs, and supports predictive efforts.
- Works as a team member with Operations to assess and maximize maintenance improvement opportunities.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mill Culture Change Agent / Promote Market Based Management through the use of the 5 Dimensions of MBM® Framework, 10 Guiding Principles, and mental models.
- EH&S Leader /Lead EH&S initiatives through implementation of the MBM® Guiding Principles, words and follow up actions, plus personal values to improve safety and compliance.
- OPEX Change Agent/ Target EHS, Quality, Reliability, Production, and Cost, as top priorities for 2011.
- Employee Development Leader/ Utilize MBM® to develop employees to their greatest value additions while embracing those individuals who demonstrate the will to always do the right thing.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years experience leading industrial plant E&I maintenance crews.
- Proven track record of results.
- Experienced with CMMS.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Leadership - be able to lead by the MBM® Guiding Principles and promoting the MBM® culture with direct reports to achieve reliable, long term value creation, resulting in positive business results and compensation.
- Experience with repairing / troubleshooting Variable Frequency Drives, PLCs, Digital Control Systems, environmental monitors, low and medium voltage motors, motor control centers, and transformers.
- Experience in Arc Flash Safety and NFPA-70 E Requirements.
- Understanding of State and Federal Electrical Codes.
- Proven organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pulp and paper industry electrical and instrumentation experience.
- Understanding of application and use of CMMS (Passport)
- Proven organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to drive the implementation of solutions through the appropriate work processes
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with substantial experience leading E&I Maintenance will be considered.
