I & E Maintenance Leader (2-22-08)

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN GEISMAR, LOUISIANA.

*       Identifies, initiates, coordinates, and completes I & E process
improvement opportunities.
*       Accountable for I&E PSM compliance (Management of Change,
Mechanical Integrity, etc...) and HSE performance.
*       Continuously improves I&E processes such as planning and
scheduling, preventive maintenance, engineering standards, work
practices, etc.
*       Initiates and drives I & E personnel development via training
programs, backup program, cost savings project program, etc..
*       Facilitates positive change in the I&E Group by proactively
driving department initiatives.  Acts as a change agent in implementing
cross-functional plant and business objectives.
*       Coordinates and directs daily activities of I & E staff.
Management of 20 Direct & Indirect Reports.
*       Interfaces with Operations and area Maintenance supervisors to
prioritize I & E Maintenance and Budget activities.
*       Manages a budget of approximately $4 Million dollars annually
*       Works with Capital Group to assist with the design and
implementation of I&E related projects.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS:

*       Continue to improve Daily Workflow processes and meet
established HSE and Maintenance Excellence goals.
*       Continue to effectively manage I&E budget and meet departmental
financial objectives. This includes accurate month to month forecasting.
*       Develop AOP for I&E Department.
*       Perform mid year and annual performance reviews for all direct
reports.
*       Improve Capital Workflow process and communication between
capital and maintenance.
*       Support large scale projects.
*       Further develop and expand the I&E Analyzer program to support
site needs.
*       Improve departmental documentation program / system.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

*       BS in Engineering Required (preferably Electrical Engineering).
*       Four years Engineering experience required (preferably in
chemical / refining industry).
*       Experience with Microsoft Office, Project, PLC programming,
InTools, DCS programming, calibration and repair of plant
instrumentation, analyzer calibration, combustion flame safety shutdown
controls, local control loops, the National Electric Code, IEEE, NFPA
and ISA standards.
*       Proficiency with control systems theory and practice with
respect to chemical process unit DCS systems.
*       Experience with Honeywell and DeltaV DCS systems.
*       High level of proficiency with SAP or related CMMS system.
*       High level of leadership ability and excellent personal
integrity.

 ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
*       Instrumentation / Electrical background strongly desired.
